Keeping things secure

There are important things you should know about and do to ensure you’re protecting yourself, your data and your device.

  • - Store, transfer and delete data appropriately
  • - Report phishing and don’t click suspicious links
  • - Report security incidents immediately

Tips for new staff starters

  • Check your account information

    Check your University account information, such as your username and email address

  • Ensure you’ve set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for access to some University IT services.

  • Upload a Staff ID photo

    Upload a Staff ID photo in your first week, as you’ll need this to receive your University card.

  • Connect to eduroam Wi-Fi on devices other than your University-provided Windows laptop.
